A day that managed to involve battling both the Beast from the East and Storm Emma simultaneously! That saw my journey from Yorkshire to London take 8 hours instead of the usual 3, and that ended up with my plans to walk for the hour required from Kings Cross to Victoria wrecked by only having 45 mins to complete the walk (and a hard-stop of a meeting with my Chairman at the end of it).

So I had to take the tube (boo), and be on time. And instead went out at 8pm for a quick shuffle in a snowy St James’ Park instead. I made my steps target, but only just.
